The marriage took place recently of Mr. Miles Howard and Miss Lisa Gilbert. Miles, a model maker, is the son of Ralph and Elizabeth Howard, of Hereford, while Lisa, a nurse, is the eldest daughter of Rev. Norman and Rose Gilbert, of Cosheston. The bride's father married the couple at Molleston Baptist Chapel and a reception was held afterwards at the Stackpole National Trust Centre, Pembroke. Lisa wore a white strapless full-length dress with an overlay of embroidery and crystals, along with a cathedral veil. She was attended by her sisters Deborah, Amy and Naomi and her friend Leah Humphreys. Page boys were Max and Marcus Howard (groom's nephews). Best man was Grant Davis and the ushers were Darren and Joel Gilbert, Trevor and Christopher Howard and Sam Veillt. The couple have made their home in Brecon.
