St. James' Church, Manorbier, was the picturesque setting for the wedding on Saturday, May 18, of Corporal Darren Michael Redman and Miss Amanda Louise Sheppard.
The groom, a corporal in the Royal Engineers, is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Redman, of 24 Maudlins, Tenby, while the bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Doona, of 6 Cromwell Drive, Redberth and Mr. and Mrs. Alan Sheppard, of Spain.
Given away by her father, the bride looked stunning in her white satin gown and she carried a beautiful bouquet of pink roses.
The bridesmaids were Miss Sue James and Miss Ruth Duffy (bride's friends), who wore pink gowns and silver wraps.
The flower girls were Miss Roxanne Greenwood (friend of bride) and Miss Alice Redman (groom's niece). They were also dressed in pink and silver.
The page boy was Master Liam Mills (bride's nephew), who was dressed in a silver waistcoat and cravat, with grey trousers.
Best man was the groom's brother, Mr. Mark Redman, while the ushers were Mr. Jamie Mills (bride's brother-in-law) and Mr. Lee Bonnar (couple's friend).
The service was conducted by the Rev. Victor Millgate, with the choir in attendance.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in a beautifully decorated marquee, in the grounds of the Castlemead Hotel, Manorbier. The evening was rounded off by a disco and live band followed by a pig roast.
The couple will be making their home in Tidworth, Hants, and will be honeymooning later in the year.
