The wedding took place at Broadway Country House, Broadway, Laugharne, on Thursday, July 10, of Ernest James (Jim) Codd and Carolyn Joyce Evans.
The groom is the eldest son of Ivy and Desmond Codd (deceased), of Gwachael, Roch, while the bride is the only daughter of Mrs. Muriel Davies and the late William David Gerwyn Davies, formerly of Castelldwyrain, Llanfallteg.
Given away by her son, Christopher Paul Evans, the bride wore a full-length candy floss gown. Witnesses were Elizabeth Diane Lewis (daughter) and John Codd (groom's brother), who also acted as best man.
The couple, both retired, are making their home at 7 Church Close, New Road, Begelly.
