Recently married at St. Peter's Church, Lampeter Velfrey, were Mr. Steve Allen and Miss Sylvie McCracken. The groom, an agricultural consultant, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Allen, of Star Cross, Devon, while the bride, a textile artist, is the daughter of Mr. W. R. and Mrs. E. McCracken, of Gabian, Languedoc-Ronsillion, France. The bride was given away by her father, and the ceremony was conducted by Chancellor M. G. R. Morris, with Mr. Michael Slaney as organist. The bridesmaids were Rosie McCracken (bride's three-and-a-half-year-old niece) and Imogen Allen (groom's four-year-old niece). Best man was Neil Allen (groom's brother) and the ushers were Stefan McCracken and Karl McCracken. Following the wedding, a reception was held at the St. Brides Hotel, Saundersfoot. After a honeymoon in the Lake District, the couple will be making their future home in Lampeter Velfrey.
