The wedding took place recently at Bethesda Chapel, Tenby Road, of Mr. Steve-Joe Howells and Miss Bethan Hayman.

The groom, an electrical installer, is the son of Mr. Gerwyn Howells, of Slade Lane, Haverfordwest, and Mrs. Rita Howells, of St. Georges Avenue, Whitland, while the bride, head of reception at Saundersfoot Medical Centre, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Hayman, of The Chestnut, Pentlepoir.

Given away by her father, the bride wore an elegant duchess satin strapless gown with an embroidered beaded bodice with lace-up detail on the back and full-length train. She carried a bouquet of agapanthus, beargrass, freesias, delphiniums and scabia.

Bridesmaid was Amethyst Howells (bride and groom's daughter), who wore a beautiful ivory duchess satin dress with lilac crystal detailing on the bodice. She carried a basket of flowers the same as the bride.

Best man was Mr. Jason Butler (groom's best friend).

The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Andrew Bowden and the organist was Mrs. Kay Phillips. A reception was held at Redberth Lodge, Redberth. The couple spent a week in St. Ives, with a honeymoon to follow. They will be making their home in Pentlepoir.
