Clive Lewis, of Stonelea, New Hedges, is seen presenting his third donation from the proceeds he raised from his recent walking event in the Hampshire New Forest.

On this occasion, he has purchased a centrifuge and auxiliary equipment for the Saundersfoot Health Centre in Westfield Road.

Earlier in the year, Clive purchased a specialised weighing scales and made a part payment for an electro-cardiograph for the Argyle Medical Group in Pembroke and Pembroke Dock.

Clive personally raises a target of between £3,000 and £5,000 prior to each event by walking around the county, meeting individuals and families in their own homes.

At this point in time, he is preparing for his 11th marathon in mid 2009 when he will walk the Llangollen Canal towpath from the Horseshoe Falls to join the Shropshire Union Canal at Hurleston Locks. The second phase of this event is the Llanberis footpath to the summit of Mount Snowdon.

Clive again thanks all his many hundreds of sponsors from helping him so generously over many years.
