Mark Wheeler and Louis Scott, son and son-in-law of Shirley Wheeler, of The Old King's Arms Hotel, will also run, donating all their sponsorship to the RNLI.

The whole event has been organised by these three incredible people, taking care of 'all' their own expenses.

This a terrific commitment of their time, money and effort to fundraise for the RNLI.

Their marathon will finish in the historic Athens Olympic Arena.

Norman ran the London Marathon in 2008 for the charity Whizzkids. His two RNLI half marathons in recent years have raised over £1,200 for the RNLI.

This is Norman's 'swansong' he tells me!

Mark has never done a marathon and Louis is a serving member of Her Majesty's forces.

All three are training hard and Norman is thrilled to be training with the local Llanion Warriors Rowing Club.
