Pounding the tarmac of the Welsh capital on Sunday will be three Narberth sportsmen who are hoping to achieve a minus two hour time in the Cardiff 13.1-mile half marathon.
The trio, Sam Ings Dave Jones and Andrew Jenkins (pictured), are running for the charity Noah's Ark, and are appealing for further sponsors.
Dave and Sam have run the event in past years, while Andrew, after training with the pair, is on his first attempt.
Dave Jones (MD of Princes Gate Water) in the final week of his training for the event also has to oversee the delivery to Cardiff today (Friday) of 18 pallets of water.
That is 40,000 bottles of freshly bottled Princes Gate Water to quench the thirst of the many hundreds of runners.
In the third year as a sponsor, Princes Gate Water has donated some £30,000 to the Noah's Ark charity.
