The Motor Neurone Disease Association has received a boost of £2,152 thanks to a group of local marathon runners. Brothers Dai and Brian Spencer, together with Pat Currie, Nicky Rees, Neil Griffiths, Matthew Evans and Ashley Hooper, raised the money by competing together in two London Marathons and the Loch Ness Marathon last autumn. A race night was also held to swell the funds. The group would like to thank everyone who helped with their fund-raising events and donated sponsorship, with special thanks to Dorothy Currie who acted as treasurer.
