MADCAP (Manorbier and District Community Arts Programme) are now taking bookings for High Tide Festival which runs from Monday, July 27 - Saturday, August 1, at Manorbier Community Centre, Skrinkle, during the second week of school summer holidays.

Now in its sixth year, the High Tide Festival attracts more young participants each year who work alongside local professional artists and tutors, Chris Elliott, Helen Astley and Sarah Rigby, at this successful summer arts camp.

Around 30 children learn exciting new skills such as batik, sculpture, costumes, and 3D design to create innovative and eye-catching artworks, as well as learn simple percussion rhythms and movement leading towards the procession on August 1.

A place for the whole week costs £35 inclusive of all materials. Participants are asked to bring a packed lunch and wear old clothes.

The festival is sponsored by Murco and receives support from Pembrokeshire County Council and Manorbier and District Community Association.
