It was a lovely warm evening and so many people came to enjoy the fun that the gate attendants were almost overwhelmed.
The crowds enjoyed the many stalls and games available and as usual the Welsh cakes and beef burger stalls were particularly popular. The music provided by Sandalwood entertained locals and visitors alike.
The raffle proved to be very successful, with the first prize of £200 going to a delighted villager.
St. James Church Council thank all those who supported and worked so hard to make the fete the best ever and wish to thank Emily Naper for her kind permission to use the castle grounds as the venue. Special thanks and congratulations go to David Henderson, church warden, for all his hard work and organisational skills behind the scenes.
