A man, a woman and a dog were rescued by Tenby inshore lifeboat crew on Thursday night after they got cut off by the tide.
The 28-year-old man and his partner, aged 20, got into difficulties whilst fishing at Second Bay, between Waterwynch and Tenby.
The pair and their dog became stranded at approximately 2 pm, but managed to climb up the cliff to safety and it was not until darkness began to fall and the couple started to get cold, that they called for help via a mobile telephone at approximately 10.45 pm.
As a result, the inshore vessel was launched and the coastguard team were called out to assist.
The couple and the dog were picked up by the lifeboat crew and landed safely back at Tenby Harbour, where they were given blankets by the coastguards to warm up, before they were taken back to their holiday accommodation in New Hedges.
