A man arrested after being abusive when he was ejected from a Haverfordwest nightclub pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place this week.
Thirty-seven-year-old Mark Edward Olney, of Southdown Close, Hakin, appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates court on Tuesday, charged with the offence, which occurred in Quay Street, on August 10.
Prosecutor Mr. Vaughan Pritchard-Jones said that the incident occurred late at night, when the defendant had been ejected from the town's Eddie's nightclub by door staff.
After arguing with his girlfriend and sister outside the premises and refusing to get in his sister's car to go home, police who arrived on the scene issued Mr. Olney with a Section 27 notice to leave the area and to not return.
He refused to accept the notice and became more abusive and was eventually arrested.
His solicitor, Mr. Mark Layton, said that his client didn't remember a great deal about the incident, as he'd had far too much to drink, but that he didn't dispute the allegation against him.
Mr. Olney was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £15 victim surcharge.
