A jury at Swansea Crown Court has convicted a Tenby resident of indecently assaulting a six-year-old girl on three occasions. The jury heard that 62-year-old Barry Hollingsworth, of Upper Hill Park, also had previous convictions for sex offences involving young girls, when he was found indecently exposing himself to ten-year-old girls in 1989. Judge Gerald Price remanded Hollingsworth in custody for a psychiatric report, stating that a long custodial sentence lay ahead. Mr. Hollingsworth was convicted of three indecent assaults, but was cleared of attempted rape and one additional charge of indecent assault.
