Mr. P. Guyan Miss N. J. Gooch
The wedding took place recently at St. James' Church, Manorbier, of Mr. Paul Guyan and Miss Nina Jayne Gooch. The groom, a teacher, is the son of Robert and Margaret Guyan, of Scotby, Carlisle, while the bride, a veterinary nurse, is the daughter of George and Heather Gooch, of Maidenwells, Pembroke. Given away by her father, the bride wore a sweetheart neckline embroidered bodice with an A- line skirt with train and pearl detail. Bridesmaids were Anna Gooch (sister) and Kay Thomas (cousin), who wore bodices and skirts in pale blue. Best man was Graham Wyatt and the ushers were Jamie Guyan, David Deakin and Phillip Jones. The service, conducted by Rev. V. Millgate, with music played by harpist, Georgina Charnock, was followed by a reception at Castlemead Hotel, Manorbier. The couple, who spent their honeymoon in The Maldives, are making their home in Worthing, West Sussex.
