Licensees in Pembrokeshire are being reminded that if they want to extend their licensable hours to screen the British and Irish Lions rugby tour of New Zealand, they will need to apply for a temporary event notice.
The tour will take place during June and July, starting on Saturday, June 3.
Licensees who intend to open and sell alcohol outside the times authorised on their premises licence need to contact the county council in plenty of time in order to apply for the required temporary event notice (TEN).
Applications for a TEN must be submitted at least 10 clear working days before the event.
Alternatively, licensees can apply for a ‘late TEN’ five clear working days before the event (but not earlier than nine working days).

The Lions tour dates are as follows: June 3 - New Zealand Provincial Barbarians; June 7 - Blues; June 10 -Crusaders; June 13 - Highlanders; June 17 - Maori All Blacks; June 20 - Chiefs; June 24 - All Blacks; June 27 - Hurricanes; July 1 - All Blacks; July 8 - All Blacks.
