Magistrates sitting in Tenby are keeping all their options open when it comes to sentencing a local man who appeared before them this week to answer various deception and motoring offences.

Gareth James Harries admitted an offence of theft of a cheque book and three counts of dishonestly obtaining meals by deception when he came before the court on Tuesday.

A further deception matter was also taken into consideration.

Harries, of 46 Park Avenue, Kilgetty, also pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified in Broadmoor on April 6, driving without insurance, having no test certificate and no tax disc in force on the vehicle he was driving.

The magistrates requested pre-sentence reports before sentencing Harries, and the matters against him were adjourned until May 7.
