Sir,
My husband and I recently spent 11 days in Wales, he for a literature conference at Gregynog, Mid Wales, and I looking for my ancestors from Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
In all the time we were there, we had very little time for sight-seeing.
In fact, the only real time we took for ourselves was about a half hour before sundown in Tenby near the big rock at the beach on one of the first days in April.
As we were getting ready to leave, with the beautiful view all around us, there came the most incredible music.
We noticed the few people still around the town were gathering around a building up above and so we followed the music and stood outside listening as well. It was such an amazing experience. We were entranced.
We were in somewhat of a hurry, but every time we started to leave another favourite song began and we were glued to the spot.
We listened to 'Take Me Home', 'When You Walk Through a Storm', 'Shanandoa' (sp), one about Wales, etc. We even danced to one of them.
It was magical. I've never heard anything more beautiful. We listened to about 10 of our favourite songs and hymns.
We saw the Tenby Male Choir sign in the window and I wished I could go into the lobby and find a CD for sale. I think you could make some good money for your organisation if you had a place to purchase them during your practices.
Thank you so very much for sharing your talents with us and for picking such incredible music.
Two of your newest and greatest fans, LeaMarie (Morgan) Robertson and Carl Robertson, Texas, near Austin, USA.
