Manorbier looks set for a busy and entertaining few weeks, with a number of events lined up at the Community Centre (next to the YHA building). On Sunday, November 25, there will be a children's puppet show, 'Merlins Coat', perfoermed by Small World Theatre. This promises to be 'an astonishing experience of delight and wonder, shown through words and wizard puppetry'. The show is at 5 pm and tickets are £5/£4 under 16s, with refreshments available. The following Saturday, December 1, there will be an African music night, featuring Senegalese drummers, kora and singing, as well as delicious food from West Africa and a licensed late bar. A production by Music on the Move, tickets are £5, children five to 16 years, £2.50. A week later, on Saturday, December 8, there will be another lively night with professional ceildh band, Juice. This family event has always been very popular, so early booking is advisable. Tickets are £5 (£4 concessions) and the show starts at 8 pm, with a late bar again available.
