Sir, On behalf of the Pembroke and District Committee for Macmillan Cancer Relief, I would like to thank the people of the area for their generosity during our recent two-day collections at Tesco Stores. The sum collected was Cardigan £950, Milford Haven £988, Pembroke Dock £1,610, making a grand total of £3,548. This is a staggering amount, surpassing all previous collections. All the money will go towards continuing the works of Macmillan Cancer Relief in this area, both in local hospitals and in the community. We would also like to publicly thank Tesco Stores for allowing us to collect on their premises.
