A flag day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support was held last Tuesday, June 2.

Between them, collectors in Saundersfoot, Kilgetty, New Hedges, Wisemans Bridge and Tenby raised the excellent total of £1,273.38.

Ann Einon, who co-ordinated the event on behalf of the Saundersfoot, Tenby and District group, thanks the collectors who gave their time and also the public for its usual generosity.

The next fund-raising event for the group, a joint enterprise with the Pembroke committee, will be a sponsored walk around the beautiful Stackpole Estate, courtesy of the National Trust, on the morning of Sunday, July 4.
