A successful Christmas Bazaar, organised by the Pembroke Committee for Macmillan Cancer Relief, was held at Pembroke Town Hall last month and raised £580 for the charity. The annual raffle was drawn by the Mayor of Pembroke, Clr. Aden Brinn, and the first prize of £100 was won by Elwyn Morse from Templeton, who returned £20 as a generous donation to the charity. The second prize went to Brian Wright from Pembroke Dock, and the third prize was won by Mrs. Hansford. The annual Pudding Night held at Pater Hall in November raised nearly £600. The beautiful cross stitch picture embroidered and donated by Meg Harries, of Pembroke, raised nearly £300 and was won by Linda Thomas, of Manorbier.
