Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the Ludchurch Horse and Pony Show taking place at the show field in Ludchurch. The categories will be for riding horse and ponies, mountain and moorland, working hunter ponies and horses, show hunters and horses, plus novelty classes and unaffiliated show jumping. There will also be the supreme championship, for which the winner will receive the perpetual challenge trophy and sash. As well as the competitions, there will be a novelty dog show, which will start at approximately 2 pm. There are 10 classes and entry is 50 pence for each. On the show field, there will also be a cake stall, refreshments, saddlery and raffle. Entries are £2.50 prior to the show, and £3.50 on the day.
