WINNER of the Pembrokeshire Lottery recently was Monica Vanner, who retired to Pembrokeshire from Essex with her husband, a boat pilot.

She returned from holidaying in Turkey to find that her lucky number, 33703, had been drawn, so she is already planning her next trip away.

Mrs. Vanner, from Pembroke, has three children.  Two are nurses and the other is in the police force.

She also has a granddaughter Olivia, who she is going to treat to some swimming lessons.

Another recent winner was Mrs. Dorothy Beckett from Hakin, with number 926.

Mrs. Beckett is a great supporter of the Pembrokeshire Lottery and this has certainly paid off for her, as this is the second time she has won since she joined when the lottery began back in 1993.

Mrs. Beckett has two sons and a granddaughter, who she plans to spoil with some of her winnings.

She has also just returned from holiday to find that she has won £2,000 and has decided to use the rest of her winnings to go again!
