LAST week saw Pembrokeshire Lottery’s Christmas Superdraw, when the usual weekly prize of £2,000 increases to a very festive £10,000!

The lucky winner was Mrs. Lewis from Haverfordwest, with lottery number 43368. The draw was aired live on 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire and presenter Jay Curtis rang her on air to break the happy news.

When asked what she planned to do with her windfall, Mrs. Lewis said she hadn’t had a chance to think about it, but she knew she would like to make a charitable donation.

When she arrived at the Pembrokeshire Lottery office to collect her winnings, Mrs. Lewis brought along a cheque for £500 made out to Paul Sartori Hospice at Home. The Pembrokeshire Lottery team were very happy to pass on the donation to the Haverfordwest based foundation, which provides hospice at home care for those with life-limiting illness in Pembrokeshire.

The usual £2,000 draws have now resumed until the £8,000 Spring Superdraw in March next year, along with special additional prizes throughout 2018 to celebrate the Pembrokeshire Lottery’s 25th birthday.
