Bryan Rees, chairman of trustees, Shalom House, raised a fantastic sum for the Respite and Palliative Care unit in Nun Street, St. Davids, when he ran his seventh London Marathon in April. He recently presented a cheque for £1,080 to Shalom nurse manager Helen Price (left) and Sarah Burns, administrator (right). Shalom House provides a much-needed palliative day care and respite care facility for Pembrokeshire people with a life-limiting illness and also supports their families and friends.
