Pictured following their wedding at St. Issell's Parish Church, Saundersfoot, on Saturday, are Dr. Shane Evans and Miss Amy Judith Yarney.

The groom, an employee of the Environment Agency Wales, Haverfordwest, is the son of Mr. Clive Evans and Mrs. Valerie Evans, of Amroth, while the bride, an employee of Dyfed Powys Police, Carmarthen, is the daughter of Mr. John Yarney and Mrs. Judith Yarney, of Saundersfoot.

Given away by her father, the bride wore an embroidered ivory dupion silk bodice with encrusted ivory pearls, with full skirt of ivory dupion silk. Her headdress was a hand-made tiara in ivory pearls and diamante, while her flowers were ivory roses, lizzianthes and lilies.

Bridesmaid was Emily Tranter, groom's niece, who wore a corn dupion silk dress with organza skirt, and the flower girls were Lauren Price and Lucy Williams, bride's nieces, who wore ivory satin and embroidered lace dresses.

Page boys were Master Ryan Price, bride's nephew, and Master Jack Tranter, groom's nephew, while the best man was Martin Tranter, groom's brother-in-law.

The wedding ceremony was conducted by Rev. Michael Butler and the organist was Michael Gulliford.

The reception was held at the Gower Hotel, Saundersfoot, with a traditional sit-down meal for immediate family, followed by an evening buffet and party for friends and family.

The bride is retaining her maiden name and will be known as Amy Judith Yarney Evans in memory of her grandfather who passed away two weeks before the wedding celebration.

The couple are spending their honeymoon at a country manor in Cornwall.

Recently married at the Holyland Hotel, Pembroke, are Sally John, of Douglas James Way, Haverfordwest, and Adrian Palmer, of Llansawel, Carmarthen.

The bride is a public relations officer with Advanced Television Research, London, while the groom is an international lorry driver for Nolan Transport, Ireland.

Given away by her son Timothy, the bride wore a gold dupion silk dress and a pearl tiara. Her bouquet was of roses, orchids, lilies and freesia.

She was attended by her daughter Kelly, the groom's niece Nicola Jones and a close friend, Jessica Davies.

The best man was a friend of the groom, Martin Jones.

The couple, who honeymooned in Ireland, have made their home in Haverfordwest.
