Neil Cunningham from Saundersfoot has self-published his first children's novel on Amazon's Kindle priced at only £1.53. The Kindle App is available to download free for most electronic devices.

The story concerns the adventures of a young boy, Davy Galahad, and his eccentric grandfather. Davy discovers that his headmaster at school hides a dark secret. It is a secret that is so astonishing that Davy realises that no one in the world would ever believe him if he told them what he knew.

Davy even finds it hard to convince his grandfather of the truth about the headmaster, and the plan that is going to be set into action. It is finally left to Davy and his grandfather to thwart the headmaster's devious plans and hopefully save the day.

But this is easier said than done, and they find themselves going from one predicament to another on a number of occasions, with only their luck and wits keeping them out of harm's way.

The story is suitable for seven to 11-year-olds, with a humorous style to the writing to get the reader chuckling right up to the last page.
