Whitland Local Produce Market is looking for producers interested in having a stall at their monthly markets.
Sited at Whitland Memorial Hall, the market has been up and running for two years with a number of loyal customers and, but organisers are now looking to boost the variety on offer to attract even more visitors.
RDP Sir Gâr's Zero Carbon Future (ZCF) project has provided the hall committee with a grant to help promote the market and volunteers will be distributing leaflets and business cards in the area.
Flags will be installed outside the hall and raised on market days to let residents and passers-by know that the market is open.
Gabriella Poore said: "We strongly believe in local produce for local people - reducing food miles whilst supporting local producers and helping the rural economy.
"The market is a great outlet for this and we would encourage any local producers to get in touch."
Zero Carbon Future, part of the RDP Sir Gâr Innovative Hubs project, is funded through the Rural Development Plan (RDP) for Wales 2007-13 which is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
Focusing on the environment, ZCF aims to deliver innovative solutions and projects which tackle climate change by reducing our carbon footprint.
