Do you know somebody who deserves to be recognised for their contribution to our county?
Well now's your chance to tell us all about it. Following on from the success of last year's event, 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire - our county's most listened to radio station, has teamed up with Bluestone to bring you the 2009 Pembrokeshire Local Hero Awards.
The awards are open to anyone, but you need to hurry as nominations close on February 16.
There are 12 categories to choose from:
• Young Achiever Award with Milford Haven Port Authority
• Contribution to Charity with Murco, Milford Haven Refinery
• Young Carer Award with West Wales Properties
• Mum of the Year with McDonald's, Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock
• Dad of the Year with Tenby, Narberth & Whitland Observer
• Contribution to Sport with Celtic Kitchens, Haverfordwest
• Contribution to the Community with Chevron, Pembroke Refinery
• Outstanding Achievement with Taylors Etc, High Street, Narberth
• Good Samaritan Award with Dragon LNG
• Adult Achiever of the Year with Green Bower BMW, Haverfordwest
• Volunteer of the Year with 1 Stop Financial, Haverfordwest.

Winners for each category will be invited to attend a gala presentation at the Plas Hyfryd Hotel in Narberth at the end of February to receive their award.
