A cheque for a staggering £7,500 which has been raised locally over the past 12 months has been handed over to the cancer charity, Tenovus, by the Tenby and District branch. The presentation to Sarah-Jayne Williams, the charity's director of fund- raising, and Mark Newbold, region appeals co- ordinator for Wales and Mid Wales, was made by Maureen Webb, branch chairman, at the group's annual fork luncheon, on Friday.
