Spencer Williams, a trainee chartered accountant, the son of Caroline and Phil Williams and brother of Sally from Tenby, is taking on a mammoth charity cycling challenge this June called Ride the Nation with his company, PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers).
He has been one of five selected to cycle 2,000 miles around Great Britain.
The event aims to physically connect all 30 of PwC’s offices in the UK network by means of a cycling relay, including offices in the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland. He will be passing through Cardiff and Swansea on June 9, so do try to support him if you are in the area.
One hundred per cent of all donations received for Ride the Nation will go to the charities the event will be supporting. Those donations will be split 50/50 between each office’s chosen local charity and the PwC Foundation’s Race for £3 million.
The five charities supported by PwC Foundation’s Race for £3 million are: The Alzheimer’s Society, Beyond Food Foundation, Wellbeing of Women, Groundwork, National Literacy Trust.

Spencer’s challenge: As Spencer has been selected as a national rider, it means he will be cycling the full 2,000 miles to every office in the UK, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland and has a target of £2,000 to fundraise, i.e. £1 a mile, so please dig deep and donate what you can at https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/rtn17spencerwilliams
