There is another opportunity for residents of Narberth to become involved with the new Action Plan for the town. A successful Future Forum meeting was held last month when participants fed back progress already made from the plan. Further projects were discussed, including a Narberth Get Healthy project, which was looking at encouraging healthy eating, safe cycling and starting a gardening club, amongst other things. The Action Plan includes proposals about how to improve the environment of the town; co-ordinate local events and activities, and re-establish a forum to ensure more partnership working. "Many people have contributed to this Action Plan, but we want even more people to come and be a part of the forum and community action," said Jessica Morgan, PLANED community support officer. The next working group meeting will be at Bloomfield on Tuesday, November 14, at 7 pm. The working groups are: community facilities and activities; festivals and events; environment and recycling; business employment and tourism. Everyone interested in joining is welcome.
