Congratulations to Pembrokeshire County Council tenant, Llinos Harries of Pembroke, the winner of the ‘Rainbow Pictures’ competition run on the authority’s housing services Facebook page.
The county’s streets are almost empty but the windows aren’t with many displaying colourful rainbows – the symbol of togetherness in these troubled times.
Through the housing services Facebook page, tenants were asked to submit a picture of their “rainbow” window with the winner - chosen by the housing customer liaison team - receiving a £20 Tesco voucher.
The housing department would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part by submitting their rainbow pictures and reminds followers of the page to keep their eyes peeled for the next competition.
The Facebook page - launched on April 15 - already has nearly 500 followers.
The page is aimed at current and future tenants of the County Council and keeps followers updated on changes to housing services, community events, new developments, and training opportunities as well as providing lots of positive content to keep up spirits.
The team are keen to hear suggestions for what tenants would like to see on the page, so please share ideas with them.
