Dylan Adams from Llawhaden has raised £2,300 for Wales Air Ambulance after suffering a serious fall.

Mr. Adams, who works as a builder, fell 30 feet from a roof. He landed on his back and there was concern of the damage to his spine and head, which required an immediate response.

Wales Air Ambulance crew were on standby, but due to the location of his accident a road ambulance was able to get to the scene quickly and treat Dylan.

The fall made him realise the importance of getting to patients as quickly as possible, and he made a pledge to raise money for Wales Air Ambulance since.

He recently raised £2,300 in sponsorship from a parachute jump.

Wales Air Ambulance rely entirely on donations to raise over £6 million that is needed each year to fund the cost of their helicopters protecting the people of Wales.

Dylan recently presented the cheque to the charity's community co-ordinator for Pembrokeshire Tony Key.

Tony said: "It takes people like Dylan to keep the helicopters in the air and his latest fundraiser will help save lives of others."
