A 'litter pick' will take place in and around Narberth Town Moor on Monday, October 29, from 10 am -12 noon. The event has been organised by County Clr. Wynne Evans, in conjunction with members of Templeton YFC. Volunteers of all ages are asked to go along in their wellies, with children especially welcome, along with their parents, with this being a very worthwhile community project. "Carding Mill Lane will also be included, with the idea being to remove items of fly-tipping in the area," said Clr. Evans. "Furthermore, local residents have given assurances that they will confidentially report all future fly-tipping to me, and I will act on new fly-tipping regulations and enforcement with the county council. "This behaviour is totally unacceptable" he stressed. On the same day, a litter pick will also take place around the new Astroturf pitch located at the Bloomfield Community Centre. "The Astroturf is very popular, but again continues to attract a large amount of litter and fast food waste," stated Clr. Evans.
