Members of Tenby and Saundersfoot Lions Club were pleased to accept an invitation recently to visit the Ty-Hafan Children's Hospice in Cardiff for a guided tour by staff and management at the centre on the facilities and day-to-day running in looking after the young visitors there. The layout and construction at Ty-Hafan ensures that both children and parents, as well as staff, can feel relaxed in this haven of peace and tranquillity. Being staunch supporters of Ty-Hafan since its inception, the club were happy to again be able to offer financial support in the form of a cheque for £1,000 towards the considerable yearly running costs which are incurred. President Keith Nixon thanked staff on behalf of the club for the chance to see first-hand the workings and facilities at this busy haven of rest, and concluded that it had been one of the highlights of the club's year and wished them all well for the future.
