Tenby and District Lions will be holding a charity event on September 14, at the Lydstep Point to Point course.

The event, which features a 10 to 12 mile course for more experienced riders, and a four to five mile course for novices and ponies, is in aid of Ty Hafan Hospice and the Welsh Air Ambulance.

Sponsorship at a minimum of £20 per horse and £10 per pony can be made, and there will be awards for the best turned out rider and horse/pony partnership.

The award for best overall sponsorship of a horse/pony, will be a special painting of the winner donated by local artist Guy Manning.
