The Tenby and Saundersfoot Lions Club has served up a gift for the local community. The club has donated a new cooker for Tenby's Augustus Place Community Centre. The Rotary Club of Tenby and Tenby Ladies Circle assisted in paying for the installation of the appliance and the provision of a new microwave. The centre is used weekly by various community groups, including the senior citizens, Joans Club, Mother and Toddler Group, Hearing Impaired, WRVS, Avenue Centre and Kings Christian Fellowship. Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Mrs. Caroline Thomas, is seen here receiving the cooker from Lions president, Pat Crockford and fellow Lions.
