Elly and her Ward 10 Flag went along to Withybush Hospital to meet a group of representatives from the Fishguard and Goodwick Lions Club recently.

Elly was pleased to meet Mrs. Gwyneth Evans (secretary), Mrs. Valerie Callaghan (president) and Mrs. Rhian Lloyd (community services officer) to receive a donation of a fantastic £500 for her Elly’s Ward 10 Flag Appeal.

Mrs. Evans said: “We are pleased to inform you that the club members were very impressed with Elly’s initiative and would like to present the appeal with a donation of £500, and hope it helps towards achieving her ambition to help those affected by illness. We have just held our annual charity fun day, the proceeds from which enables us to make these donations to worthy causes.”

Elly’s Ward 10 Flag very much appreciate the support of Fishguard and Goodwick Lions Club as we fully understand all the hard work and dedication they put into raising funds and then redistributing them to good causes in the local community. Elly’s Appeal now stands at over £35,000.
