Sir, I visited Tenby this week to discover one of my favourite hotels is up for sale. The Castle View is my idea of the perfect place to stay and the couple who run it are superb. Tenby will be a poorer place when these people leave. I only hope this fine hotel doesn't end up like others in the area. Speculators buy up fine buildings and let them rot while they go up in value. No wonder the tourist information office is moving away, it must be like working in a war zone. Tenby council should give these owners a grant to do up their fronts or buy them to make sure they are looked after.
