FUN, entertainment and live music are the ingredients on the night of Thursday, August 12, when a 'Lift The Roof' event in aid of the Shalom House Trust Hospice will take place at the De Valence Pavilion, Tenby. Featuring music from the popular Frantic Five group, the fund-raising evening will also include a pig roast, children's entertainment - featuring a balloon artist - various stalls, raffles, arts and crafts, as well as an auction with some top giveaways to be had like the following: a signed cricket bat from Glamorgan Wanderers, two tickets for a Llanelli Scarlets match, and two tickets for the spa and leisure suite at Lamphey Court Hotel. Proceeds from the night will go towards the Pembrokeshire charity, Shalom House Trust Hospice, which was founded in 1997 to provide respite care beds to help improve the quality of life for people suffering from an incurable illness. Hospice care is free of charge to patients and their families.
