Pembrokeshire's proud of its beaches and with the help of everyone who enjoys visiting them we can ensure they remain something to be proud of for generations. That's the message from Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and Pembrokeshire County Council in a new leaflet, Enjoy Pembrokeshire's Beaches. Pembrokeshire is home to Britain's only truly coastal National Park - and to more Blue Flag and Green Coast beaches than any other county in Wales. They are enjoyed by millions for their natural beauty, cleanliness and water quality. The new leaflet includes information on beach awards, activities, coastal and environmental management, safety advice, including lifeguard information, dog restrictions and 'busing it to the beach' using Pembrokeshire Greenways' coastal buses. It is funded using a grant from the Welsh Assembly Government for managing large numbers of people in the countryside. You can pick up a leaflet from Tourist Information Centres and beach car parks across Pembrokeshire.
