The RNLI lifeguards on Tenby's North Beach have assisted their first casualty of the season after a lady in her 70s collapsed on Tuesday afternoon.
RNLI senior lifeguards, Adam Pitman and Sam Trevor, were on patrol at the time of the incident.
Adam Pitman said: "We noticed the lady being assisted by her family members and soon realised she had collapsed.
"Sam and I gave her oxygen until the ambulance arrived. We suspect she was dehydrated and perhaps was not prepared for the heatwave weather."
