Tenby Lifeboat Station opens its doors to the public on Sunday, July 6.

Visitors will be able to view the station's two lifeboats, the all-weather Tyne class RFA Sir Galahad and the D class inshore lifeboat Georgina Stanley Taylor, and meet the crews.

The station, situated off Castle Hill, will be open from 11 am to 4 pm. There will be souvenirs on sale, together with strawberry teas on the harbour car park in the afternoon.

Tenby's link with the RNLI dates back 151 years and there are many reminders on display at the station of this long and proud history. An artist's impression of the new boathouse is also on display, with work due to commence on construction in early August.
