Tenby's all-weather lifeboat was paged at 11.36 pm on Saturday evening following reports of red flares sighted off Burry Port. After a thorough search of the area in co-ordination with both Burry Port lifeboats, Loughor ILB and local coastguard units, nothing was found. Swansea Coastguard then stood all units down and Tenby lifeboat returned to station at 2.50 am.
