Tenby's Tamar Class lifeboat, Haydn Miller, was launched shortly after 3 pm on Saturday to go the aid of surfers in difficulty at Rhosili Bay. The ALB arrived on scene to find a very heavy surf. Helicopter Rescue 169 was also on scene, along with Horton and Port Eynon ILB. Soon, Rescue 169 located the surfers and airlifted them.
