As a Tenby resident, I was really glad to see the old Fountains site being re-developed. Even though I didn't quite agree with what it was being replaced with, I thought it would definitely look better than what was there and it would enhance Tenby's appearance.

Since the work has been stopped I've seen the site become worse and worse, for the residents and businesses there, locals and visitors alike.

Surely, if anything at all could be agreed to resolve this development, I hope it would be done, but according to last week's Tenby Observer report, the sticking point seems to be the provision of affordable housing.

The money offered seemed a good solution to move the situation on and surely anything within reason should be considered if it means that this development could be finalised, so please National Park Authority, amend any necessary permissions to enable this site to be sold and let's have an end to this eyesore at the earliest opportunity.
