Former Pembrokeshire students who went to school together in the 1980s have reunited to pull together a star cast to raise money for a local charity with their celebration of music hero David Bowie.
The event, next Saturday, April 16, will feature guest interviews with Bowie biographer Lesley-Ann Jones and music industry mogul Tony Moore at a special dinner in Narberth. It’s been organised by former ’80s schoolmates Dr. Julia Jones, Jackie Jones, Rachel and Rebecca McKay and Maria Young to raise funds for local charity Princes Gate Trust.
The night hosted by The Plas Hyfryd Hotel in Narberth and compered by Julia Jones will also include live music performances, dinner and dancing.
This is a unique opportunity to hear all the behind the scenes stories of the music industry during the ’70s and ’80s when Bowie enjoyed his huge success as a global music icon.
