For centuries, Penally's much-loved St. Nicholas and St. Teilo's Church has been a place of worship and Christian service. It's a focal point, too, on the village green in this attractive and lively village. Now a generous gift from Mr. and Mrs. Steve Warren, of Penally Abbey, has enabled the tower to be floodlit. Residents and visitors are delighted. Canon David Jenkins and Rector warmly thanked Mr. and Mrs. Warren on behalf of the church. The Rector was joined by Mrs. Valerie Paley and Miss Margaret Brown, churchwardens. Today and in the future the church in times of change and uncertainty will depend even more than before on clergy and lay people together learning to be a generous and serving church in the early 21st century.
